At least this is the case with the Fruity Pebbles macaron, which Foodbeast is hailing as the next big confection to have on your radar. It was devised by Ashley Khawsy of SmashBakes. After sampling the new twist on French macarons the Foodbeast crew gave it their seal of approval. The treats were balanced in flavors, yet the Fruity Pebbles came through as the star ingredient.

SmashBakes is a small Web-based shop where Khawsy showcases her latest creations. If you head there now you’ll find Circus Animal Cookie Truffles, which are a mixture of animal cracker crumbs and cream cheese, covered in pink frosting and topped with rainbow sprinkles.
