Trending: Bacon Recipes

In this video, Escoffier Online’s Chef Susie Wolak discusses the bacon trend and how this tasty ingredient is being incorporated in all different kinds of dessert recipes. Bacon is a great combination with a lot of desserts. There is something about the saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness of the dessert that makes up one delicious treat.

A few of Chef Susie’s favorite desserts the bacon trend is found in are  chocolate chip cookies and vanilla cupcakes with maple syrup butter cream icing and crispy bacon on top. This trend is here to stay so, next time you are in the mood for some bacon try it in your favorite dessert!
