Student Spotlight: Vince Cibotti

Below is a story from one of our current culinary arts students, Vince Cibotti. We are always proud to hear such motivating stories!

I have been in the food business for 27 years. I have been a chef for the last five years in the Atlantic City New Jersey area. I’ve also had the fortune of working in two NY restaurants. I am currently working as a sous chef at the prestigious Atlantic City Country Club under executive chef ED Daggers.

I signed up for the Escoffier Culinary Arts course because as a chef, you should know all the essentials to run a kitchen and the Escoffier name speaks for itself. Being the course is online makes it possible for me to work and attend a culinary school at the same time because you do your classes to your own convenience. I am on my last part of the course and I can honestly tell you it is well worth the money. I really am learning what I need to know to run a kitchen. I would highly recommend the course for anybody who wants to be a chef but doesn’t have the time to attend a full-time culinary school.

Having learned the Escoffier way to cook has put me in a good place for advancement in my job. I use what I’ve learned from Escoffier on my job with very positive response from my chef, co-workers, and customers. They all love the food I’m making. The Escoffier course has made it possible for me to someday day advance to the executive chef level.
