Bananas Foster Recipe

Ingredients:
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
3 ½ tablespoons rum
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Juice of ½ orange
3 bananas
1 pint vanilla ice cream

1. Slice bananas lengthwise and crosswise and set aside
2. In a 10 inch skillet of medium low heat stir the butter and sugar and rum until dissolved, the rum may flame so stand back when mixing. When dissolved and begins to bubble add orange juice and simmer
3. Place bananas in pan and cook until warm about 2-3 minutes, carefully spooning the sauce over the bananas. Serve immediately over ice cream
