Choosing the right type of sauce for your pasta is critical and can dictate how your dish will look and taste. Depending on the shape of the pasta chosen will help you pair the appropriate sauce to top your dish off. For example, using a rigatoni noodle is ideal for catching sauces, while a pappardelle is picked for sauce that feature heavy, rustic meats like lamb or duck.
