There are many reasons why people choose to enroll in culinary school programs, from learning basic cooking skills to seeking new ways to promote healthy eating for family and friends. If you’re looking to bring home cooking back into your life, Chef John Besh’s new culinary show, which will begin airing on PBS this spring, can be an excellent source of inspiration for your online cooking courses.

According to the Associated Press, “Chef John Besh’s Family Table” is a 26-part series in which Besh returns his focus to cooking for his wife and four children, and offers recipes and tips for family-friendly meals that are also economical.

“We’ve lost sight of that family table, which has always been that clue that holds our culture together,” Besh said. “The family table is where we communicate and learn how to communicate and negotiate.”

Besh will be shooting the series in his home kitchen, and according to the Wall Street Journal, that meant renovating his cooking space to include great views, lots of space for friends and family, firepower and an emphasis on natural light.
