Boulangere Potatoes Recipe
Serves 2

9oz Onion
7oz Potatoes
1.5oz Butter
0.4 cups Chicken stock


Preparation Steps:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F
2. Peel and shred the onion
3. WPRW the potatoes and slice thinly

Cooking Steps:
1. Sauté the onion in ½ the butter and layer on the bottom of a baking dish
2. Season the potatoes and layer them on top of the onions
3. Pour the chicken stock on top until it is halfway up the potatoes
4. Brush the tops of the potatoes with the remaining butter and braise in the oven at 350°F
for 30-40 minutes

Hint: Often served with lamb or pork where the jus is used instead of stock to enhance the
flavor of the potato dish.
