INTRODUCTION:
London Broil is a marinated piece of meat popular in family style restaurants

Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
4 oz. Cardini’s Balsamic Vinaigrette
Oil
Sea Salt
Pepper
3 lb. Beef Flank Steak

PREPARATION METHOD:
1. Trim any visible fat off the steak then submerge in the cardini’s marinade for at least 6-8 hours or preferably overnight. Remove the meat from the marinade

COOKING METHOD:
1. Place the meat onto a tray and pat dry to remove excess oil. Salt the meat and place under the broiler. Depending on thickness turn after 5-10 minutes, then cook until medium rare for another 5-10 minutes. Cooking the meat longer will make it tougher as it loses internal moisture. Rest the steak for a few minutes in a warm place
2. Carve the steak into ¼ inch slices, cutting diagonally across the grain

PLATING METHOD:
1. Place the meat on a pre-warmed plate and garnish

TIP:
The meat can be cooked under a salamander, broiler or on a BBQ grill.
