The Pastry World Cup will be held on January 27th and 28th in Lyons, France this year and Escoffier Online International Culinary Academy is a proud Gold sponsor of the Australian Team!

The Australian team of pastry chefs surpassed all expectations at the Asian Pastry Cup last April in Singapore by winning the Gold! They took first place in this event for their Sydney Harbour themed chocolate and sugar showpieces, cakes, and plated desserts. This victory ensured them a spot in the finale, The Pastry World Cup taking place this month. The competition includes teams from twenty two countries that will each create three frozen desserts, three chocolate desserts, twelve plated desserts representative of their country, and three showpiece artistic creations in just ten hours. The artistic creations will include one made entirely of sugar, one out of chocolate and another purely out of ice.
