Caramel is one of the dessert world’s greatest delights. It’s rich and creamy with a slight burnt sugar taste that can enhance any other flavor, especially chocolate, coffee, toffee and vanilla. But perhaps one of the best parts of caramel is its gorgeous amber color that can add a new depth of sophistication to even the simplest of sweets. Ice cream, cake, pie, pudding, and many more have seen just how much a dab of caramel can dress up them up from home cooking to restaurant ready. But on the other side of that, it can be kind of tricky to work with due to its sticky consistency. Don’t let that stop you though!

Our pastry chef is showing you how you can decorate and dip your pastries in caramel to create gorgeous looking and tasting concoctions. Your future dessert endeavors will thank you after this online cooking class!
