Things Are Brewing Up For Colorado Craft Beer Week
Colorado – especially the city of Boulder – is known for its breweries, tap rooms and restaurants that all celebrate the renaissance of American craft breweries.
For students interested in culinary schools in Colorado, Colorado Craft Beer Week is the perfect time to visit some of the best foodie spots that feature America’s favorite adult beverage. Restaurants and craft breweries from all over the city will be serving up tappings, beer and food pairings and educational events from March 18 to 24.
Breweries like Upslope, Odell, Left Hand and Boulder will all be hosting events for residents, visitors and students in culinary arts programs who want to learn about beer making. The Colorado Brewer’s Guild is responsible for the organizing and growing of this festive celebration.
Listed as one of the beer capitals of the world, Colorado is no stranger to cooking up menus that pair well with a tasty craft brew. America is catching on too, as small-batch brewery sales have jumped in popularity in recent years. According to the Brewer’s Association, craft beer was up 13 percent by volume in 2011, and that number is expected to rise as more people find out about the great tasting experience one can have with craft beer.
