“I always enjoy having visitors from the US at our Museum of Culinary Arts set in my great grandfather’s birthplace in Villeneuve Loubet, a small Mediterranean village near Nice on the French Riviera. But on that particular occasion, our visitors were very special to us. Indeed, welcoming for the first time the managers, faculty members and selected students of our affiliated Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts from America was a particularly exciting event.
The team at the Foundation made every effort to make their trip worthwhile and hopefully memorable. And we believe we succeeded, as there are so many interesting features to discover in the Côte d’Azur, focused around food and wine in particular with a vast selection of talented chefs to spend some time with, while tasting their food. It was also the first opportunity for each partner to have a better perception of the existence of the other. So now, we eagerly wait and prepare to welcome our friends for the next trip in October!”
